Delete your account
You can delete your Crumb Count account, and the data stored with it, at any time — from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have it installed.
From the app
- Open Crumb Count and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Data & Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Deletion starts immediately.
If you only want a copy of your data, use Export my data on the same screen first — deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Without the app
Email xerosbynevish@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We verify the request comes from the account holder, then delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (email or Google identity)
- Meal logs, favourites, workouts, weight history and other daily records
- Your profile and settings — height, weight, goals, targets
- AI coach and meal chat conversations
- AI usage and quota counters, and your plan records
- On the device you delete from: the app’s local database and secure storage
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records— if you bought a subscription, the record of that purchase (order reference, plan, dates) is kept for the period Indian tax and accounting law requires. Google Play also keeps its own record of the purchase under Google’s terms.
- AI provider copies — content already sent to an AI provider may be held by them for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days (OpenAI) or 7 days (Anthropic), then deleted. See the privacy policy.
- Other devices — data stored locally on a phone where you are still signed in stays there until you sign out or uninstall the app.
Cancelling a subscription is separate: deleting your account does not stop Google Play billing. Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions first.
